Sue Cordingley

I am an artist maker living in the Calder valley, West Yorkshire. My work revolves around my connection to the valley, its nature, history and heritage. I make unique assemblages and paintings from materials I have found and recycled, and document plants I see on my walks.
Over the last few years I have run workshops at the Halifax Art Society and also Bankfield Museum. My mudlarking finds and handmade books have been exhibited at the Halifax Industrial Museum and also at Sowerby Bridge library.
My illustrations for 143 Tales Publishing are in a series of books by author Sarah Stone about a dragon that lives in Wainhouse Tower.
